DOM, which translates to “home” in English, is a suburban family restaurant located in Kyiv, Ukraine. The challenge arose when they decided to provide accommodation services. Management realized that their existing internet presence was limited to social media, and there was no dedicated platform for clients to book rooms.
The goal was to create a unified online space that embodied the essence of home – a place of coziness, warmth, comfort, and a sense of peace and freedom. Client wanted a website where visitors could not only explore their menu and events but also effortlessly reserve rooms for family holidays, parties, or a peaceful retreat. The overarching challenge was to establish an informative and booking-centric website that aligned with DOM’s vision of being a home away from home.
To address DOM’s challenge and goal, a WordPress platform was chosen for its flexibility and user-friendly content management. A strategic move involved a competitive analysis and collaboration with the client’s marketing team to create efficient wireframes. Harnessing DOM’s unique brand identity, the website design exudes a welcoming atmosphere, reflecting the comfort of home. The result is visually appealing and functionally efficient pages that provide all necessary information and feature an intuitive booking system, successfully translating DOM’s core values into an inviting online space.
